Logan Airport – Security System Expansion

Building on the success of the Security System Upgrade that was completed several years earlier, the Massachusetts Port Authority, through AECOM Transportation, again retained the services of speXsys’ security system designers to assist them with expanding the existing access control and video surveillance network to approximately 30 portals located throughout Boston’s Logan International Airport campus. SpeXsys was responsible for assessing and creating a design and sequence of operations for each portal, coordinating door hardware with the architects, creating biddable documents, and providing construction administration and engineering services during implementation.
